Essex Cricket’s 2025 End of Season Awards Gala saw Charlie Allison and Grace Scrivens dominate the honours, claiming three accolades apiece including the Men’s and Women’s Player of the Season awards respectively.

The event took place at the Leonardo Royal Hotel in London on Tuesday, 07 October and was hosted by Victoria Polley and Robbie James.

Other players that featured as winners in the various categories were Tom Westley, Jamie Porter and Jordan Cox from the Men’s squad, while Esmae MacGregor and Eva Gray were recognised among the Women’s awardees.

Before the season’s awards were presented, a segment of the evening was dedicated to honouring two Essex heroes from the Men’s and Women’s teams – Nick Browne and Kelly Castle.

Browne received a Special Recognition Award and was presented with a ceremonial cap following his retirement from professional cricket, while Kelly Castle was announced as the first-ever capped Essex Women’s player.
