The Bangladesh Cricket Board, on Saturday, announced that Ireland will arrive on November 6 to play a full-fledged series comprising two Tests and three T20 Internationals.

The tour will begin with a two-match Test series, with the first Test to be played at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium (SICS) from November 11, while the second Test will be held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Dhaka, from 19 to 23 November, concluding the Test series. Mushfiqur Rahim is expected to reach the 100 Test milestone with that match.

Following the Tests, both teams will travel to Chattogram for a three-match T20I series starting 24 November. The first T20I will be played on 27 November at the Bir Shrestha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Motiur Rahman Cricket Stadium (BSSFLMRCS), with the second and third T20Is scheduled for 29 November and 2 December, respectively.

Bangladesh last competed in a Test series in June against Sri Lanka, losing the two-match series 1-0. Bangladesh are currently leading a T20I series 2-0 against Afghanistan in the UAE.

Meanwhile, Ireland won their most recent Test against Zimbabwe in February by 63 runs, but lost their last T20I series 2-0 against England in September.
