The World Championship of Legends (WCL) T20 League is set to return for its second season this year, with matches scheduled between July and August. After a successful debut last year, excitement is once again building as cricket legends from six countries prepare to compete.

Pakistan Champions had an impressive run in the inaugural edition, securing strong wins in the league stage, including a dominant performance against arch-rivals India.

Led by Younis Khan, Pakistan began their campaign with a win over Australia, followed by a convincing victory against the West Indies. One of their most memorable performances came against India, where they posted 243/4 and restricted them to 175/9.

They also defeated England but suffered their only league-stage loss against South Africa. In the semi-final, Pakistan outclassed the West Indies once again with a 20-run win to book their place in the final.

In the final, however, Pakistan fell short while defending a total of 157. India chased down the target in 19.1 overs to lift the title with a five-wicket win.

The upcoming season will once again feature teams from India, Australia, England, Pakistan, South Africa, and the West Indies. The tournament will begin on July 18, with Pakistan Champions facing England Champions at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham. The much-anticipated clash between India and Pakistan is scheduled for July 20 at the same venue.

Probable Pakistan Champions squad for WCL season 2:

Younis Khan (captain), Shoaib Malik, Sohaib Maqsood, Misbah-ul-Haq, Sharjeel Khan, Sarfaraz Ahmed (wicketkeeper), Shahid Afridi, Kamran Akmal (wicketkeeper), Asif Ali, Abdul Razzaq, Aamer Yamin, Wahab Riaz, Saeed Ajmal, Sohail Tanvir, and Sohail Khan.
