Pakistan’s women cricketers have made notable progress in the latest ICC Women’s T20I rankings, released on Tuesday.

Left-arm spinner Sadia Iqbal has retained her position as the number one T20I bowler in the world with 746 points. She remains ahead of several top international players and continues to lead the rankings with consistent performances.

Captain Fatima Sana has moved up one spot in the all-rounder rankings and is now placed 13th, while Nida Dar has climbed to 33rd in the bowling rankings. Nida is also ranked sixth in the world among all-rounders.

Nashra Sandhu is another Pakistani player in the top 10 bowling rankings, currently sitting in eighth place with 704 points. Fatima has maintained her 38th position in the bowling category.

However, no Pakistani batter features in the top 20 of the batting rankings. Muneeba Ali is ranked 36th, followed by Nida Dar at 39th.

In the global rankings, Australia’s Beth Mooney remains the top batter with 794 points, followed by Hayley Matthews of the West Indies and India’s Smriti Mandhana, who has overtaken Tahlia McGrath to take the third spot.

Australia’s Annabel Sutherland has moved up to second in the bowling rankings, replacing India’s Deepti Sharma, while England’s Lauren Bell has risen to fourth.

In the all-rounder list, Hayley Matthews continues to lead with 505 points, followed by New Zealand’s Amelia Kerr.
