BCB set to unveil schedule for Pakistan-Bangladesh T20I series

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is expected to announce the official schedule for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Pakistan next week, according to sources.

As per the proposed itinerary shared with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the matches are planned for July 20, 22, and 24, all set to take place at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka.

Though not part of the ICC’s Future Tours Programme (FTP), the series was finalized after discussions between PCB and BCB officials held during the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan and the UAE.

It’s worth noting that Bangladesh, under the captaincy of Litton Das, recently visited Pakistan for a three-match T20I series, which the hosts won 3-0. That series marked the debut assignment for Pakistan’s white-ball head coach Mike Hesson.

Following the Bangladesh tour, Pakistan is scheduled to travel to the West Indies for another white-ball series. The three T20Is against the Caribbean side are expected to be played in the United States on July 31, August 2, and August 3.

The ODI leg of the West Indies tour, initially planned for August 8, 10, and 12 at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad, may be replaced by more T20Is. PCB and Cricket West Indies (CWI) are currently in talks to make this adjustment, aiming to help both teams better prepare for the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup.

Further confirmation on the final schedule and potential changes to the ODI series is expected soon.
