Bangladesh Cricket Board said on Tuesday that they will host the three-match ODI series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka while the T20Is will be played at Bir Shrestho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Cricket Stadium, previously known as Zahur Ahmed Cricket Stadium, in Chattogram.

Bangladesh will begin their home season when take on the West Indies in the ODI series opener on October 18 while the following two matches are slated for October 20 and 23.

Later, both the sides will move to the port city where they will play the T20I series opener on October 27 with the next two shorter format games scheduled on October 30 and November 1.

The series is crucial for both hosts and tourists considering it will be the last opportunity for both to prepare and look at their combinations before the ICC T20 World Cup, scheduled in India and Sri Lanka from February next year.
