The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that the national team arrived in Dubai today to begin a week-long training camp before the upcoming Tri-Nation Series and the Asia Cup 2025.

According to PCB, the camp will be held at the ICC Academy and run from August 21 to August 27. Players will travel to Dubai in four separate groups, with the first training session scheduled for tomorrow evening.

Pakistan will use the camp to prepare for the Tri-Nation Series against Afghanistan and the UAE, which begins on August 29 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The Men in Green will play their opening match against Afghanistan at 7:00 PM local time. Each side will face the others twice, with the top two teams meeting in the final on September 7.

Following the tri-series, Pakistan will shift focus to the Asia Cup 2025, which starts on September 9 with a curtain-raiser between Afghanistan and Hong Kong. Eight teams will contest the tournament, divided into two groups. Pakistan are placed in Group A alongside India, Oman, and hosts UAE. Group B features Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, and Hong Kong.

Pakistan will kick off their Asia Cup campaign against Oman on September 12, followed by the much-anticipated clash against India on September 14. Their final group-stage fixture will be against UAE on September 17 in Dubai.

Pakistan squad for Tri-Series and Asia Cup:

Saim Ayub, Fakhar Zaman, Salman Ali Agha (captain), Abrar Ahmed, Faheem Ashraf, Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, Hasan Nawaz, Hussain Talat, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Haris (wk), Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Wasim Jr., Sahibzada Farhan, Salman Mirza, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Sufiyan Muqeem.

The training schedule features both practice matches and media opportunities. Sessions will mostly be held in the evenings at the ICC Academy, while Pakistan will also play two T20 practice games at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on August 22 and August 25. Media interactions have been planned before select training sessions and matches.
