CWI set to stick with original schedule as ticket sales begin for Pakistan series

Cricket West Indies (CWI) has begun ticket sales for the upcoming white-ball series against Pakistan, indicating that the originally agreed tour schedule will go ahead as planned despite a proposal from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to alter it.

The three-match T20I series is set to begin on July 31 at the Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill, Florida. The remaining T20Is will be played on August 2 and 3 at the same venue. This will be followed by a three-match ODI series in Trinidad on August 8, 10, and 12, with all games to be held at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy.

The PCB had proposed replacing the ODI leg with more T20Is to give Pakistan additional preparation for the upcoming 2025 ACC Asia Cup and 2026 ICC T20 World Cup, both of which will be played in the T20 format. However, with CWI already rolling out ticket promotions, the schedule is now effectively locked in.

As part of the T20I promotion, fans can avail a special offer — two tickets for the price of one — while the price of a single ticket has been slashed by 50%. For the ODI series, ticket prices range from $8 to $175.

Before the West Indies tour, Pakistan will also travel to Bangladesh for a three-match T20I series. The national side will arrive in Dhaka on July 16, with matches scheduled for July 20, 22, and 24 at the Shere-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. All matches will begin at 5 PM Pakistan Standard Time.
