In Division Two, Ben Aitchison claimed a five-wicket haul as Derbyshire completed a resounding nine-wicket triumph over Lancashire inside three days at Chesterfield.

Aitchison followed his 75 with the bat on day two with figures of 5-49 before the hosts knocked off the 24 runs required for victory inside nine overs.

Lancashire had to settle for the consolation of a maiden first-class half-century for 17-year-old wicketkeeper Joe Moores, who hit four sixes in his 57.

With Ben Stokes absent on day three at Chester-le-Street following his England recall, leaders Durham trail promotion rivals Northamptonshire by 245 runs.
