India bowler Arshdeep Singh has been fined by the ICC after throwing a ball at New Zealand batsman Daryl Mitchell in Sunday’s T20 World Cup final.

Arshdeep petulantly launched the ball at Mitchell, striking him on the pads in the 11th over of New Zealand’s run chase, during which he had been hit for two sixes.

A furious Mitchell gesticulated and advanced towards Arshdeep, but the bowler turned and walked back to his mark instead of apologising.
